I have an instrument that needs to be repaired. What should I do?

If you have a school-owned instrument or a student's rental instrument from us that has been damaged or is not playing properly, please contact [email protected] and inform us of the problem. Your educational sales representative can pick up the instrument, have the necessary repairs made, and return it to your school.

 

My student has a violin, viola, cello or bass that's too large/small for them. Can it be exchanged to a different size?

Absolutely. If you have a student that needs to exchange any string instrument for a different size, please contact [email protected]. Your educational sales representative will then pick up their current instrument and deliver an exchange of the proper size.

 

What if I have a student that wants to switch to an entirely different instrument?

If your student is no longer showing interest in the instrument they rented with us and wishes to switch to a different one, please have their parent contact us at [email protected].

 

One of my students has outgrown their student-level instrument. Do you have any step-up instruments for purchase?

Yes, we do have step-up and professional instruments in our showroom for purchase. If you have a student that's interested in purchasing a step-up instrument, they can email [email protected] to schedule an in-store appointment. They can also learn more about our instrument upgrade information online. We are also able to arrange a small group of different step-ups to be delivered to your school for students to try out under your supervision. Please contact your educational sales representative if interested.

 

I have a student that is leaving the school's music program and would like to return their instrument. How do they return their instrument?

If you have a student that would like to return their instrument, you can refer their parents to our return options page. This is where they can request a return authorization for our educational sales representatives to pick up their rental at the school.

 

Do you offer discounts to music educators?

The Music Shop offers great discounts on sheet music, accessories, and instrument purchases to music educators. If you would like to request a quote, please email [email protected].

 

Can you deliver instruments to my school?

Our educational sales representatives make weekly trips to schools to drop off instruments, pick up returns, and deliver orders. If your school is not listed on our rental page, please contact [email protected] so we can start the process of getting your school set up.
